Our New Care Centre

Our new care centre opened in January 2018. It's now fully operational and offers a place of safety and loving care for the children who need it most.

1st February 2021

Myanmar Military launched a coup against the civil government resulting in a bloody civil war. Over 1 million people have been displaced, 250,000 being children in an already poverty-stricken country. Aung San Suu Kyi, the ex-democratically elected President was then imprisoned. As a result, our charity is having to change focus and in July 2023 a resolution was passed by the Trustees to accommodate this.

Our fabulous new facility has brought new demands for Sr Martha; she has become the go-between for trafficked children moving from Myanmar into Thailand. She regularly brings back children as young as 10 years of age who were trafficked into the sex trade in Thailand.

Great news!

Sari (Most know her as Mon) started to work for us in Thailand in Jan 2016 collecting and delivering clothes to the main Care Centre in Myanmar. Any Thais wishing to donate Clothes or money can contact her.

Our First Care Centre

During our first year we managed to raise and send over to Burma £25000, which was used to build this crisis centre for treating AIDS orphans and to buy and renovate a small house in Kawthoung which now is used as a Drop-in Centre.

AIDS ORPHANS OF MYANMAR are looking for hundreds of adventurous volunteers to make a fundraising parachute jump and if you raise enough in sponsorship you will get to jump for free! There are three types of jump available – an ‘Accelerated FreeFall’ where you can experience the thrill of skydiving solo from up to 12,000 feet, a ‘Tandem Skydive’ from 10,000 feet attached to a professional instructor and a ‘Static Line’ jump which is performed solo from up to 3,000 feet - and you can jump from any one of over twenty British Parachute Association approved airfields across the UK. No experience is necessary as all training is given and if you raise from £360 (depending on the type of jump you choose) you will receive your jump for free.

So if you would like to make a thrilling skydive from 10,000 feet or an exhilarating solo jump from up to 3,000 feet give us a call at the office on 07460562725 - we will send you a full information pack and everything you need to take part in the experience of a lifetime.
